Assistance to innovation procurement projects
EAFIP provides local assistance to selected public procurers in the preparation and implementation of a PCP or PPI procurement, covering for instance scoping an already identified procurement need that can be tackled with innovative solutions, preparing and conducting an EU wide published open market consultation and drafting tendering documents. Currently a new call to apply for assistance is open. New projects that aim to procure innovative ICT-based solutions have the opportunity to apply for free assistance. Applications will be assessed on a monthly basis.
EAFIP is cooperating with the SPIN4EIC Strategic Innovation Procurement Programme to support as many public procurers as possible. When you apply as public procurer to EAFIP, we may contact you about redirecting your application to provide you free of charge assistance under SPIN4EIC instead.
Since the start of the EAFIP-initiative in 2014 already 33 projects procuring innovative high tech ICT-related solutions have been selected to receive free technical and legal assistance.

All Innovation Procurement projects can be eligible under Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) or Public Procurement of Innovative Solutions (PPI).
